Our house is a rustic, remodeled casita in the mountains on the west coast of Mallorca. The house is situated on the slopes of the island's largest mountain. and overlooking the 1, 000-year-old village of Fornalutx. There are three terraces, large living space, double bedroom, upstairs studio, and two bathrooms. The house is on a large property surrounded by 200 olive trees and spectacular views in all directions. It's a twenty minute drive to the beach in Port de Soller; fifteen minutes to nearby Soller; and forty minutes to Palma. Hiking trails are just outside the house. We have high-speed internet access (ADSL) and air conditioning in the bedroom. Our home is situated on a terraced mountainside, overlooking Fornalutx, recently voted Spain's most beautiful village. Fornalutx has a grocery store, cafes, restaurants, souvenir shops, hairdressers and banks. The area is perfect for hikes, and the mountain trails have clearly marked paths. For boating, golf, or nightlife, you can drive to the nearby town of Soller or to Palma, where you will find everything.
