WRITE AN ARTICLE, AN E-BOOK OR A REPORT

In addition to articles, we are also seeking reports and full-blown e-books. In these two instances, you have the opportunity to earn really good money! With articles, you can get your name and a link to your site in front of thousands of targeted visitors (or earn some useful pin money!) but with reports and e-Books, you can genuinely make a difference to your income.

What's the difference between an article, a report and an e-Book?

An e-book should consist of at least 60 pages with 250 words per page (15,000 words minimum). Most of our e-books consist of over 100 pages (25,000 words), and we certainly prefer e-books of over 80 pages in length. (20,000 words)

Less than 60 pages does not normally contain enough information to constitute a full e-book, so we only accept e-books that are shorter under very rare circumstances (if the information is really important and the subject does not justify a longer e-book).

However we have also come to the conclusion that there are many subjects in which we are interested that could be best presented not as a lengthy e-book, but as a 20 to 50 page report. For that reason, we are interested in buying reports of between 5,000 and 12,500 words. We're happy to consider a wide range of subjects such as...

A Report such as this can take all sorts of "off beat" subjects. For example, an article on how to go about "Re-designing A Shipping Container for Temporary Housing" might well prove to be the sort of report we are looking for.

How do reports differ from the average articles on our website? The length is the main thing... articles are usually only about 500 to 2,500 words in length. But more important than size is the idea of a unique subject that provides information that isn't ordinarily available anywhere else. In our reports, we are seeking unique ideas and even proprietary information that is not generally available elsewhere (or is known only by you, or a very small number of people)

To clarify... what we are seeking are articles that are entertaining and educational (500 to 2,500 words). We will either pay you a straight $7.50 for every article you submit, or, if you want to get your name known on the Web, you are free to submit your article in your name, but you clearly will not get paid for it.

Reports

Entertainment and content are the key to what we're seeking in our reports. The information must be worth paying for, and we'll pay you for it. We'll pay you $100+ for a quality report of about 5,000 to 12,500 words.

If you have a concept or know of a subject that you believe fulfils our description of what we are seeking; contact us at once. We'll probably buy your report.

Do You Know Something Our Readers Would Like To Know?

What we are looking for is fresh content. As anyone who has visited our website and read our articles and reports knows, we rely heavily on fresh content to keep our visitors advised of anything relating to real estate or other countries and customs.

We are particularly interested if you know something about the tax benefits of establishing yourself in another country, or if you have new and detailed information about your home town, or home region.

We are seeking writers who can write interesting, readable reports that have something of value by way of content and that do not "age quickly" (so it's unlikely we'd be interested in a report that quoted the bank rates in Queensland, Australia in June 1987!).

On the other hand, if you've lived for five years in Queensland, Australia, you probably know enough to tell someone how to move there, how to find real estate there, how to find a job there, where to go, where not to go and so forth. And, if you've started a brothel in Queensland, Australia, you can probably tell readers how to open a brothel themselves!!

You get the point. You have to know the place or subject you're writing about, and you have to supply resources to the reader that would otherwise take them months to gather the hard way.

Reports like these do not have a mass market appeal. They appeal to a niche audience, and that is where we come in. We have the audience and we can sell your e-book or report if you have something to say and you can write it.

You DO NOT have to be a professional writer... we still want your report. If you've been there and done it, we absolutely DO want your report!

What we're looking for are ideas, not Pulitzer Prize writers. Ideas are what fuel our website and we want to expand that concept into e-Books for ex-pats and people interested in real estate. You don't have to be a professional writer to submit a report that provides important information that you yourself have learned by having been there and done it.

Our readers are seeking facts about living overseas from people who've been there and done it, facts about buying a barge and sailing down the Rhine, what it takes to migrate to South Africa, how to open a business on The Isle of Man, buy an island in the Caribbean, get a job in Paris, start a kibbutz in Peru, run an internet café in Moscow, set up a rent-a-mob outlet in Sicily!

E-books

Consider this: If, for example, you are trying to figure out how to move to The Falkland Islands, buy a sheep farm in East Falkland, get residency and a passport there; you won't find a book on how to do it at your local bookstore or library. You may well find it here! Our special internet niche provides us with a large audience who are seeking the kind of reports we make available. Our first e-Books have been a tremendous success. We are looking for more writers on a wide range of subjects.

It's our intention to present e-Books on residency of numerous nations, including application forms, unique ways to make money via the internet, real estate issues, relocation guides, job-finding strategies, setting up a business, learning the rules of the road and much, much more.

Overseas retirement is another area in which we are interested, and we are willing to look at ideas that fall outside the venue of normal expatriate issues. Ideas are important, and the knowledge of what it takes to put those ideas into practice is not universal. If you have unique knowledge on a particular subject you may very well have the makings of an excellent report that can be sold from our website as an e-Book.

What we are seeking is rich content, style takes second place.

You don't have to be Hemingway to write e-Books for us, but you do have to have a rudimentary command of the English language and be able to express yourself clearly. We'll edit the reports and e-Books, but your original manuscript has to be written clearly enough to be comprehensible.

Regular contributors can easily gross over $3,000 per month from a single e-Book! Writing a good report or e-Book is not rocket science, but it does require that you know your subject. We stress content and a total understanding of the article subject. Ideas are what fuel our literature!

There is no reason why anyone of average intelligence cannot write an e-Book. It takes time to research and write, but it is a great way to make a living. One of our partners has written three e-Books and earns a very substantial living from his internet sales. Shouldn't you try to do the same?

Some people hit a brick wall when they realize that research and writing is hard work. But consider the benefits once you learn your trade. The partner we just mentioned lives six months of the year on The Isle of Man (a fiscal paradise) and the other six months in Paris (where he enjoys the culture, the wine, the food and the fact he's not paying any tax!!). His life is entirely his own; he goes where he wants, keeps his own hours and lives in total liberty.

There is definitely an audience for the niche books that we're interested in, but not a large enough audience to justify the cost of conventional hardcopy printing. On our website, such a book is already in front of the right targeted visitor and, whilst it costs us to produce and distribute an e-book, the cost doesn't compare with the cost of regular printing.

This allows us to keep the price low, the subjects as enigmatic as our visitors, and to provide information that they would not be able to find anywhere else on the Internet. (...nor in your local bookstore.)

It also allows us to pay you A LOT more than you would normally get if your book went into traditional print.

We pay you 40% of everything earned by your report or e-Book. This is many times the amount that a hardcopy publisher would pay.

The reports and e-Books will be featured at various places on our global network of websites. We will create banners for them, provide links to them and feature them wherever we feel appropriate on the Internet (and we have a lot of experience in doing exactly that).

Except in special circumstances, our e-books sell for $39.00 (so you earn $15.60 for every single on we sell). If we sell 100 of your e-books a month you earn $1,560 a month. It is quite easy for us to sell 100 of your e-books a month, depending on the popularity of your subject.

Plus if you end up having 10 e-books online you could be making $15,600 a month. We've got the visitors and they're a targeted audience. If you've got a subject that you could write authoritatively on, then we want to hear about it.

We want reports and e-books on any of the subjects specific to our market, but don't be afraid to make suggestions... it's a BIG market and we're open to any idea that is innovative in nature. Our website is unique, we are not afraid of unique, or even irreverent, sacrilegious or taboo subjects. Try us out on your subject idea, we may very well be interested in it. Give it a shot!
