Family vacations in the Bahamas are memorable; the beaches offer
great activities and many photo opportunities. The well-known beach hotels
are amazing; they generally provide guests will equipment so they can
snorkel, scuba dive, Jet Ski, and more, which is fantastic, but these types
of hotels are usually expensive. Staying at an inexpensive beach hotel is
not a bad idea; the rooms are quite decent and the activities provided will
still be great. Kids, however, may not have a blast at a cheaper hotel
because there will be less stuff to do, which means they might get bored.
Boredom is a huge concern if you plan to bring kids with you on your budget
Bahamas vacation, which is why you must prepare. One particularly good
place for families on a budget in the Bahamas is called The Coral Sand Hotel;
the standout area at this hotel is the beach because the sands are pink and
the water in the ocean is warm.

The first thing you need to know about this hotel is the beds; they are not
suitable for most people. Sleeping in one is possible; however, anyone with
back problems may feel pain during the night. If you think the bed may
cause someone in your family pain, you should consider bringing an aero bed with you.

Another important issue you needed to know about the rooms is that they do
not have televisions or chairs. The lack of a television may be a big
problem for children because they will miss their favorite cartoon shows.
To keep your kids happy, a portable DVD player can help; they will love
watching their shows while on the beach or in the suite. As for the chairs,
the hotel does not have them for a reason; they want their guests to enjoy
the beach each day. If you ever want to sit down in your suite, you will
have to sit on the bed.

The beach is a popular area at the Coral Sand Hotel; many families are
usually found playing and relaxing there. The ocean is ideal for kids
because the water is not rough and the temperature is just right. It may
be a good idea to buy beach toys for your children; snorkeling gear, a kite,
and a Frisbee are great items to consider. Since other families usually
visit the beach as well, your kids may make some new friends before the
vacation is over.

The restaurant at the hotel serves fantastic dishes; however, most of it is
not Bahamian food, which is what most guests want. The menu is also very
expensive; a normal hamburger cost , so feeding a large family can be an issue. Instead of eating at the hotel restaurant, you should take your
family to the Rock House for dinner. The food is outstanding at this
restaurant, and the scenery is incredible during the night.

The Coral Sand Hotel is a decent family hotel during the summer because other families are usually found there too. The beach is where everyone goes to have fun; the water is calm, and the ocean's temperature is suitable for swimming and snorkeling. Overall, if you a planning a budget family
vacation in the Bahamas, this is a place worth considering.
