New Orleans is a fantastic place to have lunch because the
restaurants are outstanding. Some restaurants, however, are not suitable
for many friends and family members; these types of places are gear more
towards single people and couples. If you want to have an amazing lunch
with five or more people, the Acme Oyster and Seafood House is a great place to go. Similar to the Acme Oyster House, the Acme Oyster and Seafood House gets big crowds, so expect to wait by the bar if tables are not available.

This restaurant is a small place, and everyone loves to visit it, which is
why there is usually a line by the front door. If you see a line during
your visit, be patient and wait because the food served inside is definitely
worth it. Upon entering the restaurant, you will see many tables cover with
plastic tablecloths; this place is definitely not for fancy eaters. In
fact, when people finish their meals, there fingers are usually dirty, so
this restaurant is more suitable for casual guests and not for elegant
diners.

The most important thing you should know about this restaurant is that the
food is inexpensive; this is great for large groups of people who want to
have lunch together. The second thing you need to know is that you should
not order the fanciest dishes because they are pricier. Besides, the normal
items are better because they can feed many people, and they are quite
delicious too.

If your party is sent to the bar to wait for a table, you should use that
time to try some of the restaurant's oysters. The oysters are served a few
ways, but many guests love them grilled and raw. The grill oysters are
charred and then covered in a butter/herb sauce. When they are plated, they
are topped with a good amount of grated cheese. The raw oysters are
delicious too, but they do not taste like the oysters found on the east
coast because they do not have a brine taste. These oysters are much
sweeter, and they are served with a cocktail sauce, which makes them taste
even better.

Another amazing seafood item at the restaurant is the shrimp; one of the
best sandwiches on the menu is the shrimp Po Boy. The shrimp on this
sandwich is covered with mayo, but it is not normal mayo; this mayo is
infused with Tabasco sauce.

There are also dishes at the restaurant that more filling; the most
frequently orders dishes are the crawfish, seafood gumbo, and the jambalaya.
Each of the items is served in huge quantities, so either one of the dishes
is a good choice if you are buying lunch for many people. The crawfish,
however, might not be an excellent choice for everyone because they require
peeling, which takes patience.

If you like hamburgers, they are on the menu as well; the great thing about
the burgers is that they are homemade. Because the burgers are homemade, they are very fresh, so each bite will be very tasty. The burgers are also
well seasoned, but guests can add additional condiments if they like.

The Acme Oyster and Seafood House is an amazing palace for everyone; the
food is cheap and the portions are huge.
