Great Cajun dishes are served at K - Paul's Louisiana Kitchen;
however, the menu is not large. Although the dishes are limited, the place
is still great for people who never tried Cajun food.

Tourists love visiting New Orleans to eat at the amazing
restaurants because the Cajun food is outstanding. Dozens of places serve
Cajun dishes in this fantastic city, but most of them have lots of items on
their menus, which makes it tough to make a choice. K - Paul's Louisiana
Kitchen is a dandy place if you never tried Cajun food because the menu is
small and simple. This restaurant is a family place, so you will feel
welcomed when you enter the door.

Unlike most restaurants, you can read the menu before you even go into the
building because it will be posted outside. Many of the dishes on the menu
will be written using Cajun words, but a detailed explanation will be
displayed as well. The menu will be varied, and it will consist of lunch
items and dinner items. The lunch foods are the cheapest, and the dinner
dishes are the most expensive. Visitors love the gumbo and the shrimp
etoufee; these dishes are great for people new to Cajun food.

Normally, you will have to wait for 20 minutes by the bar before you can get
a table. Once a table becomes available, a waiter or waitress will take you
to a seat. Not all of the tables at K - Paul's Kitchen are the same; the
restaurant has tables in a noisy area and a quiet area. There are two
floors at the restaurant; the top floor is a peaceful place to eat, and
bottom floor is for talkative guests.

The overall service is not amazing; the staff does some good things and some negative things as well. The waiters and waitresses are extremely helpful; they give fabulous dinner recommendations and wine suggestions. When your meal arrives, you will love that the food is served hot; some places only heat the plate, which is not preferred by most guests. Now for the
negatives issues, there are two of them; however, they are not too bad. The
first one occurs while you are eating your dinner, and it involves the
waiters and waitress. Once a glass is empty, no one will rush to the table
to refill it; you will have to wave your hand in the air and call someone
over. The other problem may not be a big issue for some people because it
deals with seasoning. Everyone has different tastes in food; however, some
individuals may think that the dishes will need more seasonings. Adding
more salt or pepper is not possible at K - Paul's Kitchen because nether one
of these seasonings will be on the tables.

If you would like to try Cajun food while you are visiting New Orleans, K -
Paul's Louisiana Kitchen is an excellent choice. The only issue involves
the slow service and the lack of additional seasonings; however, it is still
a great place well worth checking out.
