The service at Arnaud's Restaurant is very good, and guests enjoy
the food as well. The chairs, however, are not comfortable at all, but
people still frequently visit this restaurant anyway.

Great service is very important at a restaurant, and most places in
New Orleans have fantastic waiters and cooks who do their best to keep
customers happy. Not every restaurant is excellent, but when you visit one
that has well trained employees, you will greatly appreciate it. Arnaud's
Restaurant has a mixed type of service, some people get great waiters during their visits and others get average ones. As for the food, Arnaud's serves traditional Cajun food, and tourists and locals enjoy it. Overall, this
place is worth checking out, but you must dress properly because there is
dress code.
Guests in Arnaud's Restaurant usually wear formal clothing, and you will rarely see anyone wearing jeans or shorts. The dress code policy is not enforced very well because some people occasionally have dinner in their casual tourists clothes. You should consider dressing properly whenever you visit otherwise you will definitely standout.
When you sit into one of the chairs, you might not find it very comfortable.
The chairs are made of wood, and sitting on one for more than an hour might cause pain. If you are used to soft, padded chairs, you should have dinner at some other restaurant.
Speaking of the seats, there are numerous areas where guests can eat, but
the two most popular spots are the dining room and the Jazz Bistro room.
The dining room is a more quiet place, and many people choose it when they want to enjoy their meals in peace. The Jazz Bistro room, however, is a
more social room, and a band usually performs music there. There is an
additional charge to sit in the Jazz Bistro room, but if you like music, you
will enjoy your time there.
Depending on who your waiter is, you will either get excellent, fast service
or normal, average service. When you get an experienced waiter, your first
meal will be brought to you very quickly, and the following courses will be
delivered in a swift manner as well. Sometimes there will be two waiters,
and they generally work like a race car pit crew; one person pick up the
plates and the other removes the crumbs from the table. They also make sure that every glass stays full, which is not very important to other waiters at
other restaurants.
Arnaud's Restaurant signature cocktail is called Shrimp Arnaud; it is a
popular item, so you should consider trying it first. There are other
delicious shrimp items besides cocktails, and some of them are served with
sauce. Some sauces are very spicy, and the chefs usually pour the sauce on
top of the shrimp before that serve the dish. It is a good idea to request
the sauce on the side for dipping because it might be too hot for you.
If you appreciate good service when you visit restaurants, you will enjoy
spending time at Arnaud's. The chairs are an issue for some people, so you
should definitely order less food so you can leave quickly before the seat
gets too uncomfortable.
