It is a fun and thrilling experience, and when most people try it, they love it. Even individuals who never seen a NASCAR event would probably like this activity because it is not only fun, it is educational too.

Before anyone ever gets into a racecar, training is required; the racing staff teaches everybody using speeches and a video. Watching the video is not boring; it shows very detailed information about the proper ways to handle a racing vehicle. As for the speech portion, it is not boring or very long either. In fact, the staff loves to joke around, so the entire learning process is quite fun and entertaining. Shortly after training is over, everyone gets to go to the racetrack, which is where the real fun begins.

All participates given a helmet to wear before entering a racecar and then the staff securely buckle each individual’s seat belt. It is also worth mentioning that the racecars have manual transmissions, this is generally huge concern to people who never drove a manual transmission car before. The good thing about the staff is that they show inexperienced individuals how to drive these types of cars. Each racecar, however, handles differently, but it usually does not take very long for everyone to get the hang of them.

When people get in their racecar, they usually cannot wait to put their foot on the accelerator to go fast. Going at high speeds is possible during the driving process; however, participates cannot drive exactly the way they want. All drivers are must follow a pace car and do exactly what it does; the car does things such as quick turns, banking, and long rides down the straightway. Most people like the part when the car travels down the straightway the most because it allows them to go very, very fast. The overall speed that most drivers usually reach on the track is around 126mph.

The Richard Petty Driving Experience is a fantastic memorable experience, and staff helps participates capture their own individual fast pace moment on photo. The photo cost , and it is well worth the cost because the it is large and has a frame. Sure, you can get a friend to bring a camera to the track to snap a photo for you, but the photo will not be as amazing as the photo that the staff provides.

Overall, the Richard Petty Driving Experience in Orlando is a fantastic experience for fans of NASCAR racers and casual tourists too. Training for the actual drive is not boring; it is quite fun because the staff always jokes around with everyone.
