Shoppers, theme park lovers, and golf fans will love staying at the Marriott Grande Vista in Orlando due to its location. The villas are a short distance away from a good shopping mall and a great golf course, and Disney, Universal, and Seaworld are just minutes away. The Marriott Grande Vista is an outstanding summer vacation spot; anyone one who is planning to visit Orlando for a vacation should consider staying at Grande Vista.
Upon arriving at the Marriott Grande Vista, you will immediately notice that the grounds are beautiful. Shorting after walking in the lobby, you will be greeting by the friendly staff, and they may even give you a map of the grounds, which gives you an idea about big the overall area is.
All of the villas area good choices, but the higher-level ones generally provide the best views, such as a view of the nearby golf course. No matter what villa you get, you can expect to find clean floors and very elegant furnishing. In the kitchen, there will be marble counters and a decent sized fridge, which is ideal for storing beverages. In the bathroom, you will find a huge Jacuzzi tub; the particular type is tub is quite relaxing after a long day touring. The villa will even have a washer/dryer, which is great because you will not have to return home with a suitcase filled with dirty clothes.
The pool areas are the Marriott Grande Vista is not just a place to swim; great nightly entertainment takes place there too. For example, the hotel once had a Polynesian night, which featured dancers and singers. When events are not going on by the pool, however, most people visit the pool to relax and cool off on hot days. There are two pools in the pool area; the staff does a good job keeping both of them equally clean.
There is a great mall within the area near the villa, but it is not anything like the Florida Mall. This mall does have plenty of stores worth shopping and many places to buy food, which is great. The best thing about this mall, however, is that it is not hard to navigate; tourists generally have trouble locating stores at the Florida Mall due to its overall layout.
On cool, calm days, the nearby golf course is a popular place. Anyone who loves golf will love this particular golf course, and great thing about it is that it only takes a few minutes to get there from the villas.
As for theme parks, Disney World is just 20 minutes away, Seaworld is 5 minutes away, and Universal is 15 away. All of the parks are great choices; however, when the weather is unbearable, the best place to visit is most definitely Seaworld. At Seaworld, there are dozens of water based rides and attractions, such as Shamu. During the Shamu show, the water splashes high into the air when Shamu does tricks; the refreshing water is a good way to beat the heat.
The Marriott Grande Vista is a good place to visit in Orlando during the summer because the villas are fantastic, and they are very close to great stores, a fabulous golf course, and amazing theme parks.
