Some resorts, however, are located away from great beaches, but people still love them because they provide peace and quietness throughout the day. One particular place that most individuals choose when they want to unwind in the Bahamas is Island Palm Resort Hotel because the dress code is casual, and most importantly, and the overall area does have bug issues. If you plan to stay at this resort, you will need a few things, which will make your entire stay a whole lot more enjoyable.

The scenery in the Bahamas is nice during the summer; however, the hot weather can be an issue at times. Because of this, staying hydrated is very important, which is why you should pack plenty of bottle waters. Another important item you will definitely need is sunscreen; it should be used whenever you plan to step outdoors. Some people do not use sunscreen in the Bahamas, which is why their skin generally looks fried when they return home. The final item you should bring is a hat or a cap; it will block the heat from the sun on your head.

When you are packing your suitcase, it is important to pack light for a very good reason. The resort does not have any elevators, so whatever you bring, you will have to lug it up many stairs if you get a suit on a high floor, so keep this in mind.

Island Palm Resort Hotel’s food menu is very limited; it consists of things such as burgers and fries, which cost near . The pool bar is the only place where food is offered; the food is not bad, but overtime, the menu will get boring, so it may be a good idea to cook your own meals.

Island Palm is not an ideal place to have fun, so you might have to find ways to entertain yourself most of the time. If you like reading, the hotel does get newspapers, but they are always a day behind. Going out and buying magazines and books will probably be the best idea if you enjoy reading. On hot days, the pool is a good place to visit; some days, the staff even holds karaoke events there.

Traveling farther into the Bahamas is highly recommended if you plan to have fun from time to time. To reach the great beaches, you will have to use a taxi or a bus; the bus is definitely the best option. The driver and passengers who ride the bus are very helpful; they give good recommendation about attractions worth seeing, such as the Dolphin Experience. The Dolphin Experience is a terrific activity worth trying on day one because it is very fun and educational too.

Island Palm Resort Hotel is not a family vacation spot; it is a place for individuals to unwind. The overall location is ideal for naps and reading, and the great thing is that fantastic attractions are only a bus away.
