The French Quarter, Bourbon Street, The Super Dome, and River Walk are some of New Orleans most popular spots, so its makes sense to book a suite that is close to these areas. Drury Inn & Suites is a popular tourist’s hotel because it is within walking distance of each of these destinations, and it has a few other great things as well.

One of the most visited places in New Orleans is the French Quarter; wild and sometimes crazy people are usually found there. Some tourists are cautious about staying in a hotel near this area because of the wild people. Drury Inn & Suites has this issue covered because there is a secured gate at the hotel entrance. Beside that, no one will be able to enter the hotel halls unless they are a guest, which is a good thing. Every door, room doors and stairwell doors, must be opened using a hotel electronic key card. The elevators also require the key for use, so the hotel is a very secure place to stay.

When you arrive at the Drury Inn, you will have to park your own car; however, this is not a bad thing. Sure, it is better to have someone do this task for because it saves time, but some parking valets are slow. Some individuals take 20-30 minutes to retrieve guests’ cars, so it will be less frustrating if you handle you own car.

The hotel also allows pets to stay in a suite, and the rules are not as strict as other hotels. The only requirement is that the animal must not weigh more than 25 pounds. Bringing a pet to the suite does not cost extra, so you should consider taking your animal to this hotel.

Another huge benefit is the food; guests get a free small breakfast buffet, free 24/7 access to a soda fountain, free drinks during happy hour, and free snacks at the snack bar. If you have kids, they will love this hotel because they can go to the lobby whenever they want to get an ice cold drink and a bag of potato chips. Single people will most definitely enjoy happy hour; it is a great place to meet new people. Overall, most of the drinks are good; however, avoid the beer because it is a bit flat.

With all the free drinks and snacks, you may think that the overall hotel stays messy, but ii is not. The staff is very hard working, and they keep the hotel 100% clean. The staff even cleans in places where most tourists would not even think to look, such as under tables and in the cracks of the windows. If you are an extremely clean person, you will love staying at this hotel.

Drury Inn & Suites is a great hotel for tourists because it is in an excellent spot. The overall security is outstanding too, which is needed since the hotel is close to The French Quarter
